Greenergy

Greenergy is a Collective Research project which is funded by the European Commission within the 6th framework programme. It started in September 2005 and will last 3 years. The consortium is composed of 27 partners from 11 European countries which have different expertise in the field of greenhouse growing and technology. Associations, SME experts for greenhouse energy efficiency and SME greenhouse growers are involved as well as highly experienced researchers in the horticultural and environmental sector.

Colors and Symbols

The main focus of the project are greenhouses that should be handled more efficiently. The roof within the logo symbolizes the glass components of the greenhouses. Because plants are growing in there it has been included in the logo as well. The color that describes all best is green - that's why it has been chosen as font color.
